In April 2015, SGS Sistēmas obtained the status of representative in Estonia of the world’s leading stage lighting control equipment producer MA Lighting.
By assessing the achievements of popularisation of the grandMA2 system in Latvia and production of the new MA dot2 system, MA Lighting acknowledged SGS Sistēmas as the most suitable representative in Estonia.
Already on 25 May 2015, SGS Sistēmas organised the first MA Lighting presentation in Kultuurikatel in Tallinn, which brought together many representatives of the Estonian entertainment industry from cultural institutions and stage equipment rental companies. During the seminar, the full range of MA Lighting grandMA2 products and the new MA dot2 lighting control solutions were presented.
When obtaining the status as the official representative of MA Lighting in Estonia, a new colleague joined the SGS Sistēmas team, sales representative for MA Lighting products in Estonia - Antons Kulagins.
Antons started his career in 2004 as a stage lighting technician at the Estonian National opera. Besides this he has gained indispensable experience as a technician and lighting operator in events of different scale and specification –concerts, festivals and corporate events. Since 2008, Antons has been the lighting director at the Estonian National opera and has been in charge of lighting control for opera and ballet productions such as Tannhauser, Faust, Sleeping Beauty, etc.
